Please follow the search tips below to ensure you receive the most relevant
results from your search.
- Type one or more keywords into the search box and click the Go button. The
search data is collected from web pages, PDFs, Word Documents and txt files. A
list of pages/documents most relevant to your keywords will be displayed.
- The 'Search the Latest News archive' and 'Search the Guide' search engines
have been integrated into the improved search facility. Therefore, if you would
like to search for something which is contained specifically within the Guide to
Professional Conduct or Latest News, it is advisable to add the keyword 'news'
or 'guide' to your search terms as this will display only relevant results.
- The number of stars next to the link indicates the relevance of each
result. The most relevant result is displayed at the top of the page.
- Try to be as specific as possible and use multiple search terms, where
possible. For example, medicine prescribing dispensing
- It is not necessary to include the word "and" between keywords. The search
does this automatically.
- If you are searching for results that include an exact phrase, for example
the title of a book or journal, please include quotation marks around the words.
For example, "Anatomy of the Cat"
- The search index is not case sensitive. All letters are interpreted as
lowercase.
- The search also supports word stemming and pluralisation. For example, if
you search for "word", it will also search for "words or worded or wording or
wordings".
